Welcome to The Bear Cave, previously Bear Cave Jewlery! I’m Andrea Dorlaque, the artist and metalsmith behind the bench.

 

What originally started as a focus strictly on handcrafted metalwork has naturally evolved into The Bear Cave—a creative space where traditional jewelry making meets a broader love for craftsmanship, raw materials, and slow living.

 

Working out of my studio, I handcraft every piece from scratch using sterling silver, warm copper, brass, and hand-selected natural elements. From sawing and soldering to hammering and stone setting, every ring, pendant, earring, and cuff is forged with patience and intention. Because I work with raw metals and unique natural elements, no two pieces are ever identical.
